[ Her cradling of his cheek gets him to turn his face into that hand so gently touching him, blue eyes lazily looking to her. ]

Nothing I can't handle, right?

No, I think you'll manage just fine. But...I'd rather you didn't have to, you know?

[She cares. She cares a lot, trevor.]

[quickwhip]

[ That gets him to chuckle softly, eyes falling shut and he lazily rolls on his side a bit, letting an arm wrap around her, wanting her close. ]

You're here now. So I don't have to worry, right?

[strongspirited]

Exactly! I can keep you out of trouble, and you can keep on getting into trouble without any worry.

[She leans into it, laying up against him happily. No regrets theree.]

[quickwhip]

[ As before, he chuckles softly, letting the tips of his fingers lazily caress at her back. ]

So that's the plan, is it?

[ A hum, he settles against her a little more comfortably. Feeling... calm. ]

What would I do without you?

[strongspirited]

I don't know. Probably be a lot more bored, and a lot less welcome in towns.

[ Alright, so he might just give a little hum of amusement at that, smile twitching upon his lips while fingers lazily continues to caress at her back. ]

The bored sounds like you. The other part... definitely me.

Oh don't kid yourself. You like the adventure as much as me.

I like not sleeping under trees. It's a nice change.

[strongspirited]

It is nice. And better than a wagon, too.

[She snuggles in close.]

Why, I could fall asleep right here.

[quickwhip]

[ With a hum, he lazily keeps her close, knowing that sleep is tugging too tightly at him with how weak he's been growing over the past few days alone. He knows it's coming. ]

I'll be here.

[ He mumbles with a soft smile. ]

For a little while longer.

Mmhmm...

[She knows it too, but she's tired and warm. And so, she's pulling a blanket over them, getting ready to drift off.]
