[ Night has fallen and that means Trevor is finally awake. No longer rolled up in his sheets with the curtains blacked out until Alucard can put together something more habitable for a vampire, he's stretched himself out, worked out the kinks in his neck, and headed for wherever Sypha might be as he has something he figures she'd know a thing or two about.
Maybe.
Point is, when he locates her heartbeat within the house, he rolls himself around the edge of the doorway and pokes his head in with a curious blink of those blue eyes. ]
Morning. [ for him ] Dooooo you have a minute?
[ Thankfully, for the time being, night doesn't fall so late as it will during the summer. ]
[Sypha has been just kind of sitting up, waiting on him to wake up. She's reading in her little bedroom room, nothing too fancy, and has adjusted her sleep schedule so she falls asleep late at night and rises around midday.
[ Sauntering his way in, he hums a bit as he gives a quick look around her room before he comes to stand before her, arms folding against his chest. ]
I... was wondering something.
[ He tilts his head from side to side then, a smile tugging at his lips then. ]
So, I have the Morning Star here with me, as I'm sure you already know. It lacks the magic within it here in this place but still stings like a bitch if it should happen to touch me.
[ Silver and all. ]
I was wondering if you know of a way to... possibly enchant it here? Not against myself but if we get into trouble or anything, it might come in handy to pack a bit of a punch to it. You know. Against... monsters and all that.
[Right, he IS a vampire now, and hell, that's a good thing to know. The Morning Star wasn't going to blow him up or anything (good) but silver allergy? That she could probably do something with.]
...I think I could. Not as powerfully as the original enchantment. But I could likely make it not burn you, and maybe light on fire or something? So then you'd have a flaming whip.
That's always a possibility. Something you might have more luck with.
[ He's just... not a witchy sort of guy? Or something. Either way, he smiles some to Sypha, coming to walk around her room then and just... take a look here and there. ]
But, if there's a way to do it, I don't doubt that you can find it.
[ Coming to look over a book, he sets it down before looking back over to Sypha. Again, with a smile. ]
No rush or anything. I can still smack the hell out of things with the Morning Star, so. At least there's that.
[Settling into her seat, she looks up at him from over said book with a gentle smile. No mischief, just real...happiness? Yes, it's happiness, she decides.]
There is that. I promise I'll find something to make it work. And I'll even make it a priority.
Having you in top shape should be at the top of the list. What with everything outside the city.
[ With a vampire's grace, he glides his way over to her when she grabs for him and takes her hand into his own, thumb brushing over the back of her hand as he does so. ]
If you mean not being able to go out in the sun at all anymore or else risk bursting into flame and then becoming a pile of ash... pretty well, I guess.
[ To which he smiles a bit. ]
Everything else just feels... fine. Although I have to remember how much more stronger and faster I am now. Still getting used to that.
[ With a glance down to the whip clipped at his hip, he tilts his head some before looking back to Sypha. ]
Quite a number of years I'd say. A lot of the stuff back at the Hold is much older than me. Sort of a shame that none of it could be brought here with me.
[ Although would any of it be any use? Trevor's never really been one to wield magic or anything of the like. ]
[ And he will absolutely take that compliment, thankyouverymuch ]
I'm glad you find it fulfilling.
[ To which he just chuckles softly and comes to look out her window in her room. The night seems so bright and beautiful to him. It's strange since he never really thought much o it before. But like this? As a vampire? It calls to him and he adores it, if he's honest. ]
Should I... leave you to whatever it was you were doing? [ A thoughtful hum ] Going to bed soon?
this guy again, sometime during the month;
Maybe.
Point is, when he locates her heartbeat within the house, he rolls himself around the edge of the doorway and pokes his head in with a curious blink of those blue eyes. ]

Looking up, she waves him in.]
Of course. What do you need?

[Heh.]
Unless you had something more specific in mind?

[ And he says that with a hum and sway to the side. Head tilting. Blue eyes letting their gaze trail across the room. ]
Not very often you see people or monsters running towards fire after all.
[ Probably one or two who WOULD, knowing this place, but. For the most part? Fire seems good. ]
Something similar to how it originally was maybe. I just... have no idea how to do that.
[ Not like he "enchanted" the whips to begin with. ]
no subject
[She's truthful at least.]
But I'll try? You know I'll do everything I can.
[She's already reaching for a book on enchantment.]
The Coven may be of help too.

[ To which he grins a little over to her before he comes to make his way on over, dropping down to sit on the bed. ]
It's nice to... feel myself again. To... have energy and not feel so weak, you know?
no subject
[She grins back.]
I was beginning to wonder if you'd brood and slouch yourself all the way through the earth to hell.
You feel better in the bond too.
no subject
[ It was just a bit difficult to be anything but moody or grumpy when you keep feeling like shit as each day passes by. ]
Just glad it's behind us now.
no subject
[She reaches a hand out towards him, making a grabby hands motion.]
How are you handling the other changes?
no subject
If you mean not being able to go out in the sun at all anymore or else risk bursting into flame and then becoming a pile of ash... pretty well, I guess.
[ To which he smiles a bit. ]
Everything else just feels... fine. Although I have to remember how much more stronger and faster I am now. Still getting used to that.

That shouldn't be too hard. You've got good control over that whip of yours, so I see no reason why you'd struggle with your hand.
[She looks down at their joined hands and smirks. Oh...time for teasing.]
You've always been gentle with me, too. I don't expect that to change.
no subject
Well... I mean.... obviously I would be.
[ A beat. ]
Unless... you didn't want me to be?
no subject
[She laughs. No innuendo, really.]
It's charming. You look like a great brute of a man...but you're actually, dare I say it, quite sweet.
no subject
Well, right. I... can be. Yeah.
[ Awkwardness aside, he smiles a bit then and comes to gently let go of Sypha's hand. ]
I told you, I'm nice.
no subject
[She slowly rises, looking down at the whip and then back up to him.]
How old is this thing, anyway?
no subject
Quite a number of years I'd say. A lot of the stuff back at the Hold is much older than me. Sort of a shame that none of it could be brought here with me.
[ Although would any of it be any use? Trevor's never really been one to wield magic or anything of the like. ]
no subject
[She's not sure. But having anything would be better than nothing.]
But, eh. No sense in worrying about that.
no subject
[ Nevermind that's what he himself had been doing for weeks. Just. Yeah. He's grown from it?? Or something. ]
Not... that it's any of my business or anything but... you going to bond with Alucard?
no subject
[She nods at his question.]
It is your business. Yes, I am. I'm going to talk to him today, I think. There's no reason for us to not all three be interwoven together.
no subject
[ FEELINGS and what have you. ]
I don't see why he wouldn't take you up on it, so. Have fun with it?
no subject
[She doesn't doubt that it will be. But...well, Trevor deserves a compliment every so often.]
no subject
I'm glad you find it fulfilling.
